Just With U is built around one promise: your private moments with your person stay private. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

• Your email + name (to create your account, via Clerk).
• The content you create together — journal entries, songs, reminders, daily question answers, mood, pet state.
• Payment info — handled by our India payment partners Razorpay and PhonePe, or by Lemon Squeezy (global); we never see your card number.
• Basic device + usage analytics (PostHog) — page views, feature usage, anonymized. No cross-site tracking.

What we never do

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not train AI models on your private journal, messages, or photos.
• We do not read your data unless you ask support for help and explicitly share it.
• We do not show ads inside the paid app.

Where data lives

Our database is hosted on DigitalOcean (Bangalore region by default). Photos live in DigitalOcean Spaces. Auth is via Clerk. Payments in India by our partners Razorpay and PhonePe; payments outside India by Lemon Squeezy. We can move regions on request for compliance.

Your controls

• Delete any entry, song, reminder, or photo at any time.
• Unpair from your partner — and choose whether to delete or keep the shared data.
• Delete your account from Settings → full erasure within 30 days.
• Export your data on request — email [email protected].

Children

Just With U is for ages 16+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes

If we ever update this policy, we will notify you in-app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. You can reach us anytime at [email protected].

Data controller

Just With U is operated by Shubham Bisht, who acts as the data controller for personal information collected through the service. Privacy questions, access requests, and data deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
